Animal Skin Matching
Children will learn to match patterns (match the animal to its skin). They will also learn to understand parts to a whole concept. Children can also work on sequencing skills. Instead of keeping the animal tiles on top of the skin board, keep it separate; ask the child to arrange it in the same order as it is shown on the skin board. The child will appreciate the patterns in nature. It is everywhere!!
